Meet Angel

Hi! I’m Angel Bilagot, a Registered Psychotherapist and Drama Therapist, but most importantly, a mom to four beautiful boys. I know firsthand that parenting can be both incredible and incredibly hard.

My path began at Wilfrid Laurier University, where I earned a combined degree in Psychology and Theatre. I then completed my Master’s Degree in Drama Therapy at Concordia University, where I learned how creativity can open doors to understanding and healing in ways that words alone sometimes cannot.

After that, I continued my training in Drama Therapy in New York City while working as a therapist at the PTSD Clinic in New Haven, Connecticut. My professional journey has given me the opportunity to work, teach, and develop programs for organizations such as the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, the Canadian Institute for Neuro Integrative Development in Montreal, the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter, and the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

In 2025, I completed my Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Yorkville University.

More than anything, I believe that when we slow down, listen, and truly see one another, that is where connection begins.

With warmth,

Who is this course for?

This course is for parents and caregivers who want to better understand their child’s emotions, strengthen connection, and bring more calm into their home. You do not need any creative background or previous experience, only curiosity and care.

What will I learn?

Each module guides you through reflection, gentle exercises, and real-life tools that help you notice what is underneath the hard moments and respond with more understanding and confidence.

How much time will it take?

The course includes five modules, each about 20 to 30 minutes long. You can move through them at your own pace, or whenever you (finally!) find quiet moments.

What if I do not have much time?

That is completely fine. Each module is designed to fit into busy lives. You can pause and return anytime, and even small moments of reflection can make a difference.

Will this replace therapy?

This course is educational and supportive, but it is not a substitute for therapy. If your family needs deeper one-on-one support, the CO. team offers individual sessions for children, teens, and parents.

How will I access the course?

You can access the course online from your computer, tablet, or phone at any time that works for you.

Can both parents or caregivers take the course together?

Absolutely. Many families find it helpful to take the course as a team so they can reflect and support each other through the process.

What makes this course different?

It is led by Angel Bilagot, a Registered Psychotherapist and Drama Therapist, who combines professional experience with real-life parenting insight. Each lesson is grounded in compassion, connection, and creativity.

How do I know if this is the right fit for me?

If you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply want to better understand your child and yourself, this course is a gentle first step. It offers a space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect, all in a creative, non-judgmental way.

I’m not local. Can I still join?

Absolutely! The Parenting Course is completely online, so you can join from wherever you are — in your own space, on your own time.

Simple. Supportive. A Course Designed With You in Mind.
